Alaska 2010

The BBP is spreading its wings and, in addition to our Mexico/CenAm trips, will be leading trips “North of the Mexican Border”. Our first “North of the Border” trip will find us headed to Alaska following the safety and convenience of the Alaskan Highway.
Reno Air Race

And with the use of the BBP’s special scaffold lift, as we did five years ago, we are Reno bound mid-September.
Yes, the BBP has made arrangements for the use of Member Rex McBride’s hanger right in the middle of everything. And there will be drinks, finger food, and lots of fun as we watch the world’s fastest aircraft race across the Nevada desert.

AOPA Summit

As in the past twelve years, the BBP will be at the AOPA “Summit” to be held in Long Beach starting November 11 through the 13, 2010. All the BBP “Crew” will be there and we all love to talk. And now may be time to get another BBP shirt, hat, or anything else that you just cannot live without.

If you have ever wanted to explore Mexico as Mexico was meant to be, now is the time. AOPA´s Summit winds up Saturday night in Long Beach and the Baja Bush Pilot´s Explore Mexico trip departs the following morning. It will be Mulege, Punta Chivato, and Alamos.

Still working out the logistics, we have decided to go to our most favorite places in Mexico and Central America. And if that is not enough, we have added an optional segment to our trip that will take us to Columbia and back up to the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, and end in Florida.

Whales 2011

Something about a mammal the size of a Greyhound bus covered with Rubbermaid swimming under your tiny boat in a big ocean that really turns the adrenalin on.
