Mr. McCormick, Thank you and your staff for your participation in the Amigo’s de la Aviacion, Aviation Safety Seminar. Your participation and support was instrumental in making this year’s event a great success.
We feel that collectively, we were able to influence the governments of moth Mexico and the USA to take a look at the current policy and procedures and make the necessary changes to improve and facilitate Cross-Border General Aviation flights between the two countries.

I just wanted to say thanks for helping me plan my first trip by private aircraft into Mexico. Your “Flying to Mexico” guide and "Adventure kit" gave me all the information to make the trip enjoyable. It was also reassuring to talk to pilots (Jack and Erik) who have done this many times. The idea that you regularly cross the border and know the rules and shortcuts helped me over the fears of flying south of the border.
Again thanks for all the help.
Sincerely
Tom J.

Regarding: Whales 2003
Dear Jack
We just returned from Mexico. We wanted to let you know that this year’s whales trip to Mulege and San Ignacio (with a side trip to Loreto) was just great! This was our second time traveling with you and the rest of the Baja Bush Pilots. Although we fly extensively in Mexico on our own, hooking up with you and the rest of the BBP Pilots is always a special treat.
From accommodations, to meals, to whale watching, you cover it all with flair. W especially enjoyed the street party in Mulege, and always enjoy Don Johnson’s Saturday night pig roast; what a great way to relax! I tell my pilot friends, who are sometimes reluctant to fly into Mexico, to sign on for one of the BBP trips and expand their horizons. They are a great way to “spread your wings” into great travel adventures with a minimum of hassle.
We look forward to our next trip with the BBP. Thanks again for a great time. Take care and fly safely

Jack: I have been a member for many years and while I don’t need regular assistance from the BBP, I wouldn’t consider not paying my annual dues. The changes brought about by your efforts are certainly appreciated by me and my circle of flying friends.
Keep up the good work!
Ford

Jack, well done. The BBP service to us has been very important and I applaud your work in Mexico City. I figure that with the 5 trips a year I average, you have saved me over $300 dollars in permit fees, I see more aircraft in Mexico, and you have reduced my time spent in entry airport by hours.
Jack, keep up the good work.

Jack-You and your family are certainly making a positive difference in our quality of life pertaining to flying in Mexico. I just read your account of the Cuenavaca trip and there is not much time for anything but work. My 28 years of flying into Baja only get better each year because of your efforts. Thank you very much, we all appreciate it.

El Presidente Jack, Excellent letter to Senador Gutierrez. You covered all of the bases, and provided a reasonable explanation for each. I personally cannot thank you enough for all of your efforts on behalf of not only the BBP, but all of us Gringos who do Mexico in our airplanes. Not that I want you to raise them, but when I pay my BBP dues I feel that I am getting the best return for my $$$ of all the aviation related expenses I have. Good luck at the meeting. And thanks again for carrying the torch for the rest of us.

Thanks to Jack, Erik and Claudia for making my trip to the Whales another great experience. Our guest from Texas loved the trip and want to return. At the rate we are going I will need a Caravan like Alejandro by next year to haul them all. Cleared out of MMCN and had another quick in and out. Still the best spot on the coast.
